I don't want to build
another mobile store.

I want to connect the ones that already exist.

Building a distributed digital sales & sourcing network for India's mobile retail market.

I've spent the last five years building an online marketplace and, in the process, built relationships with wholesalers and retailers across India. Now I'm taking those relationships, infrastructure and learnings into a new opportunity.

Where this started

This idea didn't start with mobile phones.

My existing business has been running for the last five years as an online marketplace for sharing and accessing offers.

But while operating it, I accidentally built something more valuable:a network.

01

150+ wholesalers

02

70+ wholesaler customers

03

Retailer relationships

04

Marketplace infrastructure

05

WhatsApp systems

06

Cross-city sourcing access

The network came first. The new business opportunity came later.

The discovery

Then I started talking to mobile retailers.

I spoke with multiple mobile retailers who were already generating sales through Instagram Reels and short-form content.

Demand ↑↑↑

Operational capacity →→

Attention multiplies in days. The ability to answer, match stock and close doesn't.

The problem

Their content is scaling faster than their operations.

01

Stock

A Reel can go viral while the retailer has only a few units available.

02

WhatsApp

Hundreds of customer enquiries can arrive within a short period.

03

Response

Retailers struggle to respond quickly enough to every potential buyer.

04

Staffing

Hiring enough people for peak demand is expensive when that demand is unpredictable.

The problem isn't demand.
The problem is what happens after demand arrives.

What if the retailer didn't have to handle everything?

The solution

We become the digital layer around the retailer.

The retailer owns the physical relationship and fulfils the order. We build the digital engine that generates, manages and converts demand.

City-by-city model

Phase 02

Replicate the operating model city by city.

Phase 03

India

Build the distributed mobile retail network.

These are planned phases, not existing achievements.

Each retailer gets

  • Local content
  • Brand face / creator
  • Customer acquisition
  • Centralised enquiry management
  • Telecalling
  • Product sourcing
The face of the store

Every store gets a face.

Instead of asking every retailer to become a content creator, we help them identify local faces who can consistently create content around their inventory.

WhatsApp + Telecalling

When the Reel ends, the real work begins.

I already have experience building WhatsApp-based systems for my existing business. The next layer is combining that infrastructure with trained telecallers who can handle the demand generated by content.

The customer gets an option instead of a dead end.

The inventory doesn't have to be in one store. It exists somewhere in the network.

Unfair advantage

This is where my previous five years matter.

Because I already have relationships with wholesalers and retailers across India, sourcing a specific device from another city is a much more realistic starting point for me than it would be for a new entrant.

Why now

Short-form video

Retailers can generate massive attention through Instagram Reels.

Messaging commerce

Customers increasingly enquire and transact through messaging.

Fragmented inventory

Mobile inventory is distributed across thousands of independent retailers and wholesalers.

The opportunity is to connect these three.

The flywheel

Each turn makes the next one easier.

Why me

Why me?

I've spent the last five years building, operating and learning from a real marketplace business. The biggest asset I have built isn't just revenue. It's relationships.

I've spoken to wholesalers. I've worked with retailers. I've built customer-facing systems. I've dealt with operational problems at scale. This idea is the result of those experiences.

India doesn't need another mobile store.

It needs a better way to connect the stores, inventory and customers that already exist.

Starting with Kerala. Building for India.
